Pintando a Max / Painting Max

Mirad en que he estado trabajando estos días...

Do you want to take a look on what I have been working on for the last few days?

Un encargo personal de L., una amiga a la que quiero mucho, que siempre escucha mis amores y desamores jajaja ¡que paciencia!

 One of my best friends wanted a pet portrait of a very cute bunny called Max. 
L. is a lovely girl who has always been there for me -and this includes hours and hours chatting about my love life ;)

 Lo imaginé escondido en un bol de porcelana y pensando en su comida favorita, las hojas de zanahoria :)

Pintado con técnica mixta de grafito, acuarela y lápiz de color para darle a Max, este conejito belier, toda la suavidad y textura de su precioso pelo.

Espero os guste mi nueva ilustración, feliz fin de semana!!

P.D Como ya sabéis, para pintar mis obras solo utilizo pinceles de pelo sintético y nunca de pelo animal. :)

I imagined Max hidden inside a porcelain bowl, thinking about his favorite food, carrot leaves! :)

I painted this little furry cutie, a beautiful belier bunny, using a mixed media technique (graphite, watercolor and crayons). I tried to capture Max´s softness, he looked like a stuffed toy :)

P.S All the brushes I use to paint my pantings are synthetic. I never use animal hair brushes.

Un jueves por la mañana, un grupo de bloggers han sido invitadas en un hotel en la Gran Vía barcelonesa, todas listas con sus cámaras y teléfonos móviles para no perderse detalle...¿Pero a qué o a quién estavamos esperando? ¿Y por qué estavamos allí?

Eran los encuentros de bloggers VIP (oohhh que importante suena esto jajaja) de Fitting Room, y estavamos esperando a un grupo de diseñadores y artistas de distintas disciplinas, que nos hablarían de su trabajo y de todo lo que les inspira, de sus diseños diferentes, creativos y artesanales...

Hola! Seguro que a muchos os pasa como a mi y en verano es cuando aprovechamos para leer esos libros que por falta de tiempo estan en nuestra mesilla de noche...

Hi everybody! If there is one word that describes my "me-time" in summer is..books!! More free time means reading those books who are waiting patiently on my bedside table for someone to read them...

Los que os pasáis a menudo por aquí sabeis que mis propuestas, ya sean de decoración, de cosmética o moda, siempre son con productos respetuosos con la naturaleza incluiendo el vintage, (una manera de reciclar muy fashion jeje!!) y por supuesto en defensa de los animales, que es una de mis pasiones.

Los productos de la marca Lush, con sus jabones, exfoliantes, cremas para el cuerpo...Todo ello con deliciosos aromas, muchos con el sello vegano (que no llevan ingredientes de origen animal), y con una clara política en contra la experimentación animal. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?

Beside the wonderful fragrance in all Lush products ( soaps, moisturisers, massage bars...) we can also find products made with heart; using only vegetarian ingredients and against animal testing (more information here ) What´s not to love about this company?
