En la familia Tolix, todo el mundo conoce a su integrante más famoso, la silla A, un diseño de 1927 y que se ha convertido en un referente en la decoración industrial vintage..
Pero para este fin de semana, os propongo conocer a su sobrino "cachas", la encantadora hermana y el resto de la familia...

In the Tolix family, everybody knows their most famous member, the A chair (1927), a must have in any industrial and vintage decoration scheme...

Pintando a Max / Painting Max

Mirad en que he estado trabajando estos días...

Do you want to take a look on what I have been working on for the last few days?

Un encargo personal de L., una amiga a la que quiero mucho, que siempre escucha mis amores y desamores jajaja ¡que paciencia!

 One of my best friends wanted a pet portrait of a very cute bunny called Max. 
L. is a lovely girl who has always been there for me -and this includes hours and hours chatting about my love life ;)

 Lo imaginé escondido en un bol de porcelana y pensando en su comida favorita, las hojas de zanahoria :)

Pintado con técnica mixta de grafito, acuarela y lápiz de color para darle a Max, este conejito belier, toda la suavidad y textura de su precioso pelo.

Espero os guste mi nueva ilustración, feliz fin de semana!!

P.D Como ya sabéis, para pintar mis obras solo utilizo pinceles de pelo sintético y nunca de pelo animal. :)

I imagined Max hidden inside a porcelain bowl, thinking about his favorite food, carrot leaves! :)

I painted this little furry cutie, a beautiful belier bunny, using a mixed media technique (graphite, watercolor and crayons). I tried to capture Max´s softness, he looked like a stuffed toy :)

P.S All the brushes I use to paint my pantings are synthetic. I never use animal hair brushes.

Ilustración personalizada para una gran bloguera y amiga, Anakonda.

Muchas veces hago un pequeño cuestionario para saber que animal representa mejor a la persona a quien va dedicada la ilustración, pero en el caso de Anakonda del blog La Mano Invisible y de la tienda vintage online El Merkadillo...¡Lo tuve muy fácil! Ella es como una preciosa gatita, independiente pero a la vez con un corazón enorme, que lleva un megáfono para proclamar todas sus ideas alto y claro (si visitáis algunos de sus fantásticos blogs entenderéis el porque ). Espero que te guste querida amiga, esta hecho con todo mi cariño, muchas gracias por tu apoyo incondicional!!!

This is a custom illustration  for a great friend and blogger, the lovely Anakonda. Before starting to think about what animal will best suit the personality of the person I´m going to draw, I usually do a little test to know better that person, but with Anakonda, I knew it right from the start...She would be a strong-minded, independent but sweet kitty, with a megaphone to share with the world all her wonderful ideas and thoughts!
